Kevin P. Clark, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Kevin P. Clark is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aptiv. Mr. Clark has been a director since March 2015, when he became Aptiv’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman since April 2022.

In 2014, Mr. Clark was appointed chief operating officer responsible for Delphi’s business divisions, as well as the Global Supply Management function. Mr. Clark joined Delphi in 2010 as chief financial officer, responsible for all financial activities including strategic planning, corporate development, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounting and tax.

Before coming to Delphi, he was a founding partner of Liberty Lane Partners, LLC, a private-equity investment firm focused on investing in and building and improving middle-market companies.

Mr. Clark also served as Chief Financial Officer of Fisher Scientific International Inc., a manufacturer, distributor and service provider to the global healthcare market from the company’s initial public offering in 2001 through the completion of its merger with Thermo Electron Corporation in 2006. He also held a number of senior management positions at Fisher Scientific International.

Mr. Clark began his career in the financial organization of Chrysler Corporation. He has both a bachelor’s degree in financial administration and a master’s degree in finance from Michigan State University.

Josie Archer, Senior Vice President, Global Sales

Josie Archer is senior vice president of global sales at Aptiv, a position she has held since November 2022. Essential to Ms. Archer’s role is her responsibility for leading the sales operations team, overseeing Aptiv’s training and development salesforce program, and generating successful relationships between our customers in all regions.

Ms. Archer joined Aptiv in 2017 and served as vice president, sales Electrical Distribution Systems, where she was responsible for the business unit’s global commercial strategy. Due to her successful ability to build customer relationships, in 2021, she was promoted again to vice president, sales Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX). Under Ms. Archer’s leadership, the AS&UX segment secured record bookings in customer awards with Aptiv’s groundbreaking technology solutions that address our customer’s toughest challenges. Ms. Archer is also the Troy Technical Center champion for Aptiv’s Women’s Network, where she creates an inclusive and enriching space for women in all departments of the company to come together to connect, develop, and grow.

Prior to Aptiv, Ms. Archer was the chief sales officer and global sales director of TI Automotive. Before TI Automotive, she served in commercial roles with TRW, Continental Automotive Systems, Motorola, Panasonic Automotive, and Robert Bosch GmbH.

Ms. Archer has a bachelor of arts in supply chain management from Michigan State University.

Matthew Cole, Senior Vice President and President, Advanced Safety & User Experience

Matthew Cole joined Aptiv in January 2023 as senior vice president and president of the Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) Business Unit.

In this role, Mr. Cole is responsible for creating and executing the AS&UX strategy and operating plans for each of the AS&UX regions, as well as the Global Engineering Services organization, which includes 8,500 technologists located in eight major technical centers across the globe.

Mr. Cole has worked in the automotive industry since 1992 when he started his engineering career at Ford Motor Company. He has held a series of increasingly responsible leadership roles at Tier One OEM automotive suppliers, including Visteon and Johnson Controls.

During his 21-year career at Visteon, Mr. Cole held various positions including senior vice president, Product Development, Global Electronics; general manager, Yanfeng, Visteon Automotive Electronics; director, Electronics Product Development; joint venture chief executive officer; business planning and strategy manager; and Powertrain project supervisor. He has extensive global experience leading product development, engineering and program management organizations.

Most recently, Mr. Cole served as president of Tech Transformations, an automotive consulting firm focused on helping global automotive electronics companies establish agility strategies and implement technology-focused transformation initiatives. 

Mr. Cole graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science in Engineering Management and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Miami University.

Glen De Vos, Senior Vice President, Transformation and Special Programs

Glen De Vos is senior vice president, transformation and special programs of Aptiv, a position he has held since December 2022.

In this role, Mr. De Vos is responsible for delivering high-quality and innovative programs to our customers and working across the organization to provide solutions that support Aptiv’s mission to deliver safer, greener, and more connected solutions to enable a sustainable future of mobility.

Most recently, Mr. De Vos served as Aptiv’s senior vice president and chief technology officer and president, Advanced Safety and User Experience. While serving as Aptiv’s chief technology officer, Mr. De Vos was responsible for leading the company’s innovation strategies and development of advanced technologies. In addition, Mr. De Vos led the global engineering organization.

Previously, Mr. De Vos was president, mobility & services group and vice president, software & services, Delphi Electronics & Safety (E&S). He began his Delphi career with E&S in 1992 and following several progressive engineering and managerial roles in infotainment and user experience, was named vice president, Global Engineering for Delphi E&S in 2012.

Mr. De Vos has extensive business, engineering, and manufacturing experience, including time at General Electric and ITT Power Systems.

Mr. De Vos received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Calvin College in 1982, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1983, and a Master of Business Administration from Ball State University in 1994.

Michael Gassen, Senior Vice President and President, Aptiv Europe, Middle East, and Africa

Michael Gassen is senior vice president and president of Aptiv Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), a position he has held since 2015.

During this time, Mr. Gassen held a number of leadership positions, including senior vice president of Sales, that were instrumental in positioning Aptiv as a technology leader in the region. His deep knowledge of the industry and strong relationships with global customers helped strengthen Aptiv’s position in the region.

Prior to that, Mr. Gassen held several management positions working with a variety of customers and was a product line director for body security and reception systems. He began his career with Delphi in 1986 as a sales and marketing manager and was subsequently appointed managing director of the organization in Italy. Before joining Delphi, Mr. Gassen worked for the Liebherr Group, a leader in the construction machinery industry.

Mr. Gassen is a native of Remscheid, Germany and earned his degree in metallurgy from the Schule für Metalltechnik and Chemie in Düsseldorf, Germany and attended the Insead Business School in Fontainebleau France.

Jose Carlos Jimenez, President, Connection Systems

Jose Carlos Jimenez is president of Connection Systems for Aptiv. In this role, Mr. Jimenez provides global leadership and strategic direction for the business unit, working alongside the regional executive teams on cross-divisional intiatives.

Mr. Jimenez began his automotive and electronics career with Delphi in 1997. He has more than two decades of extensive experience where he expanded his responsibility from Lean Management to Operations Leadership roles in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and South America.

In 2019 he was named Vice President and Managing Director of Connection Systems EMEA and in early 2022 he was appointed to lead the Connection Systems Americas region as Vice President and Managing Director until his recent appointment in July 2022. During his career he developed talented teams in diverse international environments with a strong focus on the customer.

Mr. Jimenez graduated from the San Telmo International Institute (Spain) with a Business Administration and Management degree. In addition, he holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) and an executive MBA from the Thunderbird School of Management (USA).

Obed Louissaint, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer

 

Obed Louissaint is executive vice president and chief people officer, a position he has held at Aptiv since March 2024.

In this role, Mr. Louissaint will oversee global Human Resources, as well as Communications, ensuring the increased alignment and focus on executing for our customers and delivering outsized value for our shareholders.

Prior to joining Aptiv in 2023, Mr. Louissaint was senior vice president of transformation and culture at IBM. In this role, he focused on creating a growth & inclusive culture through leadership, learning, diversity & inclusion, talent acquisition, talent management, employee experience and transformation for IBM.

Mr. Louissaint brings over 21 years of experience working at IBM across multiple geographies, senior-level positions, and business units to Aptiv in the areas of workforce management, diversity, talent management, and delivery.

Mr. Louissaint received a Bachelor's in Industrial and Labor relations from Cornell University.

He serves as the Chair of the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) and the U.S. Department of Labor Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship.  Mr. Louissaint is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) and works closely with numerous public and private organizations to expand pathways for underserved constituencies into family-sustaining careers.

Benjamin Lyon, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Benjamin Lyon is senior vice president and chief technology officer of Aptiv, a position he has held since December 2022.

In this role, Mr. Lyon is responsible for ensuring that Aptiv remains at the forefront of emerging and disruptive technology trends and prioritizing longer-term technology and business model opportunities in mobility and adjacent markets. In addition, Mr. Lyon is responsible for the technology leadership of the global engineering organization, which includes more than 19,000 technologists located in 12 major technical centers across the globe. 

Mr. Lyon has over two decades of experience in senior engineering, developing technology, commercializing products and executing program launches at leading technology companies.

Most recently, Benjamin served as Chief Engineer and Executive Vice President of Engineering and Operations of Astra Space, Inc. since 2021. In this role, he successfully deployed 22 satellites to low Earth orbit (LEO) and launched the Astra Space Engine Hall-Effect thruster product line. 

Before that, Benjamin served at Apple Inc. for over two decades, developing and productized sensors, displays, high-performance compute, and safety / security critical technology for scale. While at Apple, he also cofounded their autonomous systems effort.

Mr. Lyon received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Joseph R. Massaro, Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman, Business Operations

Joseph R. Massaro is chief financial officer and vice chairman, business operations of Aptiv. Mr. Massaro is responsible for Aptiv’s finance and accounting, manufacturing excellence, supply chain management, information systems, global business services, program management office, and the Winchester Interconnect business.

Mr. Massaro joined Delphi in 2013 as vice president, Internal Audit, and was appointed to the position of vice president, corporate controller in 2014. In March 2016, he was named senior vice president and chief financial officer and in September 2020, also assumed the role of senior vice president, business operations.

Prior to Liberty Lane, Mr. Massaro served in a variety of finance and operational roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2002 to 2007, including senior vice president of Global Business Services where his responsibilities included global sourcing and information technology.

Prior to the merger with Thermo Electron, Mr. Massaro also served as vice president and corporate controller of Fisher Scientific as well as several other senior finance positions.

Mr. Massaro began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1992 where he served as a managing director in the firm's Transaction Services practice. He received a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Bentley University, and a Master of Business Administration and master’s in accounting from Northeastern University.

Joe Palmieri, Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Management and Global Real Estate

Joe Palmieri is senior vice president, supply chain management and global real estate for Aptiv. He has global responsibility for Aptiv’s supplier management and real estate functions. 

Based in Boston, Mr. Palmieri joined Aptiv from CommScope, where he was Chief Procurement Officer in which he oversaw global strategic sourcing, logistics, materials, component engineering, and compliance. Previously, Mr. Palmieri led operations, supply chain and procurement at several cable and electronics companies including General Instruments, Motorola, Google and ARRIS.

Mr. Palmieri holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Management from Drexel University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Matthew Peterson, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Matthew Peterson is senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Aptiv. In this role, he oversees Aptiv’s information technology and global business services strategy and operations. He assumed the CIO position in 2015.

Based in Dublin, Peterson joined Aptiv from Deloitte Consulting, LLP, where he was a director in the consumer and industrial products and technology strategy and architecture practices.

Peterson began his career as a consultant with Ernst & Young, and then became senior principal consultant at Diamond Management and Technology Consultants. In 1999, he was hired by start-up Neusoft Technologies as COO, secretary and treasurer. In 2000, he joined JohnsonDiversey, where he held a number of positions in information technology before becoming vice president and CIO in 2005. In 2009, Peterson was named CIO at TRW, a role he had until joining Deloitte Consulting in 2013.

Mr. Peterson earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

William T. Presley, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, and President, Signal & Power Solutions

Bill Presley is vice chairman and chief operating officer of Aptiv, a position he has held since March 2024.

Mr. Presley is responsible for driving the seamless alignment and execution of our commercial and operating strategies in the Signal & Power Solutions and Advanced Safety & User Experience segments, as well as Global Sales.

Mr. Presley joined Aptiv in January 2019 as president of the Electrical Distribution Systems business unit. In September 2020, he was appointed to senior vice president and president, Signal & Power Solutions, and senior vice president and chief operating officer in December 2022.

Bill has worked in the automotive industry since 1994, when he started his engineering career at Chrysler Corporation. Throughout his 14 years at Chrysler Corporation, he worked in many functional areas, including EMC Testing Labs, Electronics, Product Design Studios and Vehicle Development.

In 2008, Bill joined Lear Corporation as the North American General Motors Electrical Program Management leader. Between 2008 and 2019, he held various positions at Lear Corporation, including Vice President of the Wire Harness and Component Business Unit, Director of Core Engineering and Global Director of Engineering for Electrical Distribution Systems.

Bill also served in the U.S. Army and the Michigan Army National Guard for 13 years which included 10 years as a Field Artillery Officer.

He graduated from Norwich Military University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition, Bill holds a Master of Engineering degree with a concentration in Electromagnetic Physics from the University of Detroit and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Oakland University.

Katherine H. Ramundo, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary

 Katherine H. Ramundo is the executive vice president, chief legal officer, chief compliance officer and secretary of Aptiv, a role she has held since March 2024. Ms. Ramundo is responsible for overseeing integration of our legal strategy and compliance programs across Aptiv and its subsidiaries, as well as the coordination of our Sustainability efforts across our People, Products, Planet, and Platform pillars.

Prior to joining Aptiv, Ms. Ramundo was executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary of Howmet Aerospace Inc. (formerly Arconic Inc.), a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries, a role she held from November 2016 to February 2021. Before Howmet Aerospace, Ms. Ramundo served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of ANN, Inc., the owner of the Ann Taylor and LOFT brands.

Previously, Ms. Ramundo served as vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary of Colgate-Palmolive. Among her other positions during her 15-year tenure at Colgate, she served as general counsel of the Europe/South Pacific division, and later managed global specialty legal activities. She began her career as a litigator, practicing at major New York-based law firms, including Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and Sidley Austin.

Lisa Scalzo, Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer

Lisa Scalzo is senior vice president and chief communications officer at Aptiv, a position she has held since July 2023. In this role, Ms. Scalzo is responsible for the development and execution of global strategic communications for Aptiv.

Ms. Scalzo is a forward-thinking communications executive with vast experience at Disney, ABC, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and Peacock leading strategic and crisis communications, media and investor relations, reputation management, brand optimization, and employee relations. She is a dynamic leader with a proven track record of building global communications teams that deliver long-term, sustainable success for the business.

Prior to Aptiv, Ms. Scalzo held multiple leadership roles across two decades with Comcast NBCUniversal and The Walt Disney Company. Most recently, she served as the Executive Vice President, Communications, Direct-to-Consumer and International at NBCUniversal.

Ms. Scalzo has a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a minor in business from the University of Iowa.

Anant Thaker, Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, Product

Anant Thaker is chief strategy officer and senior vice president, product at Aptiv. As chief strategy officer, Mr. Thaker is responsible for developing and implementing Aptiv’s corporate strategy, including identifying organic and inorganic growth platforms, driving business model transformation, and supporting the execution of underlying strategic initiatives. Effective July 2023, he expanded his responsibilities to include leading the global Product organization focused on strengthening the strategy and execution of Aptiv’s product development roadmap in Advanced Safety, Cockpit Software, Middleware/DevOps, Compute and Connected Services. He is also a board member of Motional, Aptiv’s automated driving joint venture with Hyundai.

Mr. Thaker joined Aptiv in August 2018 as director, strategy and was promoted to chief strategy officer in August 2022. Under his leadership, the Strategy team has developed differentiated market and competitive analyses, defined key pillars of Aptiv’s business strategy and operating model, and teamed with Aptiv’s businesses and functions to drive execution in software, high voltage electrification, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving, in-cabin sensing, and Smart Vehicle Architecture™.

Prior to joining Aptiv, Mr. Thaker spent seven years with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focused on corporate and digital strategy in its industrial goods practice area. He began his career as an equity analyst covering the internet and consumer software sector at Morgan Stanley and as an investment analyst for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute endowment. 

Mr. Thaker received a B.A. in Government and an M.A. in Statistics from Harvard University in 2006 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011.

Sophia Velastegui, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer

Sophia Velastegui is senior vice president and chief product officer of Aptiv, effective February 2022. In this role, Sophia drives the design and development of productized solutions.

Prior to joining Aptiv, Sophia served as the Chief Technology Officer of Artificial Intelligences and Product Head of Power Apps Edge within their Business Application Group and General Manager, responsible for the development of Microsoft's AI and Search products.

Prior to joining Microsoft, she headed Google/Nest’s Silicon and Architecture Roadmap team, and was previously head of Apple’s Platform Architecture “Think Tank” Program. She has also held a variety of technology and product development roles at Doppler Labs, ETM and Applied Materials.

Sophia holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

She was named by Business Insiders “The Most Powerful Female Engineer” for her work in AI and emerging technology in 2017 and 2018.

Sophia currently serves on Blackline’s Board of Directors, on Georgia Tech's College of Engineering board and is Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council.

Jane Wu, Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Development

Jane Wu is vice president of investor relations and corporate development of Aptiv. Ms. Wu is responsible for communicating Aptiv’s strategy and financial performance to the global investment community, as well as leading Aptiv’s mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment activities.

Ms. Wu joined Aptiv in February 2017 as director of corporate development before being promoted to vice president of corporate development later that year. In March 2019, Ms. Wu also assumed responsibility for Aptiv’s corporate treasury function, which includes cash and liquidity management, capital markets, insurance, and other financial risk management activities. She held the role of treasurer until March 2023, when she was appointed vice president of investor relations.

Prior to joining Aptiv, Ms. Wu was senior director, mergers & acquisitions at Tyco International. She started her career at Goldman Sachs, where she spent 11 years in the investment banking division’s industrials group focused on mergers & acquisitions.

Jane received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Princeton University.

Simon Yang, President, China and Asia Pacific

Simon Yang is president of China and Asia Pacific. He became president of Asia Pacific in January 2018 and added the president of China role in December of 2023. As president of China, Dr. Yang will be directly responsible for all business unit operations in China. Dr. Yang works alongside the regional executive team on cross-divisional initiatives and leads the stewardship of Aptiv’s relationships with government and senior customer contacts.

Dr. Yang started his career with General Motors in 1995 in Warren, Ohio and relocated to China in 2003 to start-up connection systems operations in Asia. In 2008, he was appointed Managing Director for Delphi Connection Systems in Asia, driving substantial business growth from 2004 to 2017 and playing a key role in multiple acquisitions with highly successful integration. In 2014, Dr. Yang was appointed Delphi China President, directing the overall business in China, including 17 manufacturing sites and 3 technical centers.

Dr. Yang earned his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Master of Material Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He received his Master and Ph.D. of Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Yang also completed the Senior Executive Program of Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He has published 11 research papers in several USA and European science and technology journals.
